Our Commitment
About Carbon Atlantic
Carbon Atlantic is a specialist hardwood charcoal trading company connecting premium African producers with European distributors, retailers, and industrial buyers.
We operate at the intersection of supply chain integrity and commercial efficiency. Every shipment is subject to rigorous third-party pre-loading inspection — verifying moisture content, ash levels, fixed carbon percentage, and sizing — before a single container is sealed.
Our model is built on transparency: you know exactly what you're receiving before it leaves the port, with documentation to match every specification agreed upon at order.
Our Products
All products sourced from Nigerian hardwood forests, available in 20ft and 40ft FCL. Independent inspection certificate issued per shipment.
Produced from Ayin hardwood — one of Nigeria's most valued timber species — this charcoal delivers exceptional calorific value, low smoke, and a long, consistent burn. Highly sought after by European restaurant and gourmet BBQ importers.
High-quality hardwood lump charcoal purpose-built for the European BBQ retail market. Consistent sizing, reliable ignition, clean burn, and minimal sparking make it ideal for branded retail bags or bulk distribution to wholesalers.
Finger-shaped natural hardwood charcoal engineered for shisha and hookah use. Delivers steady, odourless heat with no chemical additives — the preferred natural alternative to quick-light charcoal in Europe's growing shisha lounge and specialty retail sector.
A blended hardwood charcoal formulated for minimal spark emission — essential for indoor grilling, covered BBQ areas, and safety-conscious retail markets. Mixed sizing makes it versatile across domestic and light commercial applications.
Our Services
Every shipment is verified by an independent third-party inspector at the port of loading. We provide Quality Inspection and Loading Inspection with proven photos of ash, fixed carbon, and sizing reports before the container is sealed — giving you full confidence before payment.
We work with established Nigerian producers with proven export operations, logistics infrastructure, and documentation capability — including phytosanitary certificates, certificate of origin, and fumigation.
We handle the full document chain: Bill of Lading, commercial invoice, packing list, weight certificate, inspection certificate, and all compliance documents required for EU customs clearance.
For buyers requiring consistent monthly or quarterly volumes, we structure supply agreements with fixed pricing windows, priority loading, and guaranteed specification compliance across multiple shipments.
